Try a different answer from an earlier Playground reply

Mampu AI now lets you go back to an earlier reply in a Playground test and continue from there with a different answer. The messages after that reply are set aside, the details the agent had collected are kept, and the branch is saved as its own session in History, so you reach a later branch of your flow without typing the opening again.

How do I retry a step in a Playground test in Mampu AI?

1. Open the agent's Playground and chat through the flow as a customer would.
2. Under the reply you want to revisit, click Answer differently from here. A note in the chat marks where the test continues.
3. Type a different answer. The agent carries on from that step with the details collected so far.

What happens to the rest of the test?

• The messages after that reply are set aside. The original session stays in History and the branch is saved beside it, starting with the messages you kept.
• The Conversation panel shows the labels and details as they were at that reply.
• If you saved the flow after that reply, a second note says the step you are continuing from may have moved.
• Scripted test runs through the API and the MCP tools can continue an earlier run from one of its turns in the same way.
