Mampu AI automation rules can now send a message on a different channel from the conversation that triggered them. Pick one of your email, WhatsApp or SMS inboxes on the Send a Message action, and the message reaches the contact there, for example an email summary after a WhatsApp chat.
How do I send an automation message on a different channel in Mampu AI?
- Go to Settings → Automation and create or edit a rule.
- Add the Send a Message action.
- Next to the action, keep Same conversation or choose one of your inboxes.
- Write the message, and fill in the recipient field that appears beside the inbox, or leave it blank.
Who receives the message, and in which conversation?
- Leave the recipient blank to message the contact the rule fired for, using their saved email address or phone number.
- Insert a variable as the recipient instead, such as a contact attribute or an answer your AI agent collected in the chat.
- Variables work in the message text too, so the message can quote what your AI agent collected.
- If the recipient already has a conversation on that inbox, the message is added there; otherwise a new conversation is started.
