Edit a live WhatsApp template from the library
Change the words, header, footer or buttons of a template that is already on your numbers, and the update reaches every number in one save.

Mampu AI can now edit the content of a WhatsApp template that is already live on your numbers, straight from the WhatsApp Templates library. One save sends the new header, body, footer or buttons to every number that carries the template, instead of editing it number by number.
How to use it
- Open Settings → WhatsApp Templates and click the pen icon on the template's row.
- Change the header, body, footer or buttons.
- Click Save changes. Each number's chip shows Queued, then In review until WhatsApp approves the edit, usually within minutes.
Details
- The Meta name, language and category are locked on a live template, because WhatsApp does not allow them to change. The friendly name and the content stay editable.
- Renaming only the friendly name for your team changes nothing on WhatsApp.
- WhatsApp's own rules apply: only approved, rejected or paused templates can be edited, and an approved template at most once every 24 hours and 10 times in 30 days.
- If WhatsApp refuses the edit on a number, its chip turns Failed with the reason underneath. Click the send icon (Apply to numbers), tick the numbers marked Update refused — send again and confirm.
