Test your automations in the Playground
Automation rules now run on Playground tests, and the Playground shows what each one did. Webhooks, emails and messages are shown, never sent.

When your flow agent adds a label or hands a chat over, your automation rules often take it from there. Until now a Playground test stopped at the agent, so the only way to check the whole chain was a live customer chat. Now the rules run on the test chat too.
What do I see when a rule runs during a test?
- Under the reply. A line names each rule: Automation ran, or Automation skipped (Testers only).
- In the Conversation panel. Automations lists every action. Changes to the test chat, such as a label or an AI attribute, show done.
Will a test send anything to my customers or my team?
No. A webhook, an email, a message, a Google Sheet row or a message sequence shows would have run (not sent from a test). Click What it would have sent to read the address and the filled-in text before you publish. Rules switched to Testers only stay off in the Playground, and Reset starts a clean test chat.
