Your agent follows the ad when a customer asks for more info

A customer who taps your ad usually opens with "Hi, can I get more info?" or "How much is it?". Your agent used to answer that by asking which service they wanted, even though the ad already said it. Now it reads the ad and goes straight down the advertised service's path.

What changes when a customer comes from an ad or a post?

When the first message comes from a Meta ad or a comment on your Facebook or Instagram post, a Condition step takes the branch the ad or post features when the customer:

  • opens with a general message, such as "Can I get more info?"
  • asks about that service, such as "How much is it?" or "Do you cover Penang?" With Answer FAQs on the first message on, a matching FAQ answer is sent too.

When does the agent still ask?

The step still asks its question when the ad features several services, when the customer compares options ("Which is cheaper, roof repair or tank cleaning?"), or asks about something the ad doesn't mention. Facebook and Instagram ads send only their headline, so the agent follows them when the headline names the service.

To try it, add the ad's headline and text to a Playground Scenario.
