Turn message sequences off and on without deleting them
Pause any message sequence with its Active switch. While it is off nothing starts it and its waiting messages are skipped, with every step kept.

Mampu AI now lets you pause a message sequence with one switch. Each row on the Message Sequences page has an Active switch, so you can stop a seasonal promotion, a follow-up you are rewriting or a reminder ladder you no longer need without deleting it and losing its steps. Turn it back on whenever you want it running again.
How do I turn off a message sequence in Mampu AI?
- Open Settings → Message Sequences.
- Click the Active switch on the sequence's row.
- Confirm with Yes.
To start it again, click the switch once more and confirm.
What happens while a sequence is off?
- Nothing starts it: not its own trigger, and not an automation rule or inbound webhook that applies it.
- Messages it had already scheduled for customers are skipped, and they are not sent later when you turn it back on.
- Its steps, timing, conditions and language versions stay exactly as you left them.
- A duplicate of a switched-off sequence starts off too, so a copy never sends before you are ready.
