See a warning when a customer sends a risky file or link

Scammers send "wedding invitation" or "parcel tracking" files that are really apps, and they take over the phone or computer that opens them. Mampu AI now marks these files in the chat and tells your team before anyone opens one.

What does my team see?

  • On the file. An app, program, disk image or archive shows Risky file type. Don't open it unless you expected this file. under its name, whether it was sent on its own or with a caption.
  • On a link. A link that downloads one of these files shows This link downloads a risky file type. Don't open it unless you expected it. Shop pages, maps and PDFs show nothing.
  • In My Inbox. The agent assigned to the chat and every admin get a Risky file or link entry naming the file or link. When nobody is assigned, the admins get it.

Does it block the file?

No. Real customers send zip files and installers too, so nothing is blocked, no label is added and your AI agent keeps answering. Each person can also get the notice by email or push under Notification preferences in their profile settings.

The alert for a hacked WhatsApp number now counts the same, wider list of file types.
